This book helps to learn the first steps in jazz on the trumpet, and to understand the rudiments of improvisation. The first part presents some familiar and very easy pieces, and the musician can follow them on the CD. The second part adds to these themes, an example of improvisation through simple lines, to play his "first steps" . The themes are played as samples, and then recorded in "playback" version. It allows to work on personal improvisations.
